What the site is
A publication of the U.S. Census Bureau's figures for places, counties and census tracts, as the Bureau publishes them, with their margins of error. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Census Bureau or any government. It does not rate places and gives no advice: check any figure that matters to a decision against the Census Bureau page each section links.
Using the data
The Census Bureau's figures are public. PlainCities' own tables, rankings, sentences and downloads are offered under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license: reuse them with the credit "PlainCities (plaincities.com), from U.S. Census Bureau data, CC BY 4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/)" and a link to the page they came from. Automated access is welcome wherever robots.txt allows it (it shuts out a few scrapers by name), at a polite rate that does not slow the site for readers; do not bypass any security measure.
Advertising
Pages carry advertising served by Google. PlainCities does not choose individual ads and does not endorse what they offer.
Liability
PlainCities comes as it is: survey estimates carry margins and can be wrong. As far as the law allows, Kiznis Studio accepts no liability for losses that come from using the site, and nothing in these terms takes away a right your local law gives you.
