Top 100 Fastest-Growing Cities in the US

This list ranks the 100 fastest-growing US incorporated cities by population change from 2020 to 2025, using U.S. Census Bureau Population Estimates Program (PEP), Vintage 2025. PEP publishes annual population estimates only for incorporated places and minor civil divisions -- not Census-designated places (CDPs), which make up part of our full 28,702-city database. Of those, 18,101 (63.1%) have PEP coverage and are eligible for this ranking; the rest show as not covered rather than an estimated figure. A 2020 population floor of 5,000 keeps tiny places' large percentage swings from dominating the list.
